Key facts
  • Lifting options offered: HIFU, Ultherapy, Thermage FLX, VF Lift – Vertical Facelift (CLASSYS Volnewmer), Time Freeze Laser LCLR®, the FSX laser and PDO or PCL thread lifts.
  • VF Lift – Vertical Facelift modes: Lift tightens and defines the jawline; Sculpt flattens areas that pouch, such as fullness under the chin; Restore is used for hollows, with nothing injected.
  • Timing: tightening from ultrasound, radiofrequency and laser builds gradually, usually over two to six months; threads reposition tissue at once.
  • Limits: heavy skin excess and marked descent may need a surgical opinion, which is said plainly at assessment.
  • Who assesses: Medical Director Dr Sin Yong, who maps which layer has descended before choosing a device.

Which page should you read first?

Start with the comparison pages if you are deciding between devices, or with the area page if one feature bothers you most.

How to choose

How do you choose a lifting or tightening treatment?

Choose by the layer that has changed: loose skin, descended fat pads, lost volume or a strong muscle each need a different tool.

How to choose a lifting or tightening page. A starting point only: the layer that has descended is identified at assessment, and many plans combine options.

Most faces show more than one change. A plan might tighten skin with radiofrequency, reposition tissue with threads and restore a hollow, in that order. Results build gradually and vary between people; the choice, and the order, are decided at assessment.

Devices and protocols

Which lifting devices and protocols does IN Eternity Clinic use?

The clinic uses focused ultrasound, monopolar radiofrequency and laser protocols, chosen by depth, skin quality and how much recovery you can allow.

  • HIFU in Singapore — Focused ultrasound for face and neck: depths, who it suits, results and side effects in Asian skin.
  • Ultherapy in Singapore — Focused ultrasound with imaging for brow, jaw and neck laxity, downtime and cost factors.
  • Thermage in Singapore — Thermage FLX monopolar radiofrequency for face, eyes and neck, compared with HIFU.
  • VF Lift – Vertical Facelift — Dr Sin Yong’s radiofrequency protocol on the CLASSYS Volnewmer, with Lift, Sculpt and Restore modes planned along vertical vectors.
  • Time Freeze Laser LCLR® — Laser Collagen Lipo Remodelling: the clinic’s laser skin-tightening and lifting protocol.
  • FSX laser — Thulium and erbium glass laser used to firm loose skin on the face, neck and eyelids, alongside its skin-quality effects.
  • Luminescence Laser Lift — An erbium glass laser protocol for tone, texture and early laxity with low downtime.
  • Svelte Touch — Radiofrequency and ultrasound lifting for jowls, a double chin and lax skin.
  • Z Lift — Dr Sin Yong’s zone-specific lifting and contouring protocol.
  • Volnewmer and the CLASSYS platforms — The radiofrequency and ultrasound platforms behind several lifting and body protocols at the clinic.
  • sagging face treatment — Non-surgical lifting for jowls, a soft jawline and deep folds, matched to the sagging layer.
Threads and combined plans

Which pages cover thread lifts and combined lifting plans?

Threads reposition tissue directly, and combined plans sequence lifting, volume and skin treatment.

  • thread lift in Singapore — Absorbable PDO and PCL threads for the jowl, mid-face, brow and neck; risks and cost factors.
  • nose thread lift — PDO threads to lift the bridge and tip, threads vs filler, safety and downtime.
  • RVR ProLift — A vertical lifting protocol using collagen-stimulating injectables for mild to moderate descent.
  • 3D Facial Reconstruction — A layered plan that sequences lifting, volume and skin treatment.
  • facial volume restoration — Telling volume loss from descent: lift first, then add support where it is missing.
By area

Which pages cover the eyes, jawline, chin and neck?

These pages start from one area of the face or neck and explain the causes before the options.

  • eye lifting treatment — Hooded lids, low brows, eye bags and crow’s feet told apart, with referral for ptosis.
  • droopy eyelid treatment — Ptosis versus a low brow or loose lid skin, how it is measured and non-surgical options.
  • eye bag removal in Singapore — Fat, hollow, fluid or loose skin: non-surgical options and when surgery is advised.
  • eye concerns — Bags, circles, hollows, droopy lids and bumps around the eyes, each told apart.
  • double chin removal in Singapore — Fat, loose skin, the platysma or a short chin identified first, then treated without surgery.
  • double chin causes — Why submental fullness can be fat, laxity, muscle or jaw position, and why the cause decides treatment.
  • V shape face — Masseter slimming, chin filler, jawline, threads and double chin options matched to cause.
  • what widens the lower face — Muscle, buccal fat, bone or sagging tissue: how each is told apart first.
  • jaw slimming in Singapore — Masseter injections for a wide lower face from muscle, after other causes are ruled out.
  • jawline and face shape — Wide jaw, full cheeks, short chin, jowls or double chin, with every jawline option.
  • Nefertiti lift — Small anti-wrinkle doses along the jawline and neck bands, and its limits versus lifting.
  • neck lines treatment — Lines, platysmal bands and loose skin told apart, then boosters, injections or tightening.
  • neck and hands — Neck lines, a loose or banded neck and ageing hands, with the treatments used for each.
  • skin laxity — Why the sagging layer (skin, fat, ligament or bone) decides whether tightening will help.
  • anti-ageing by decade — What changes in your 20s to 60s and which lifting and tightening options suit each stage.

These guides cover results timelines, comfort, cost factors, comparisons and complications for each lifting option.

Other devices explained

Which other lifting devices are explained but not offered?

These guides explain devices people ask about that IN Eternity Clinic does not use, and how they compare with the options offered.

  • Sofwave vs Thermage vs Ultherapy — Parallel-beam ultrasound explained and compared; Sofwave is not offered at IN Eternity Clinic.
  • titanium lifting explained — A diode-laser warming treatment compared with HIFU; not offered here.
  • Oligio vs Thermage — Two monopolar radiofrequency devices compared; Oligio is not offered here.
  • EMFACE explained — Radiofrequency with facial muscle stimulation; not offered here, with the clinic’s own options named.
Questions

Frequently asked questions

Which lifting treatment suits me?

It depends on which layer has changed. Mild laxity often suits energy-based tightening; visible jowls may suit threads or a combined plan; hollows need support restored; heavy skin excess may need surgery. Start with face lifting treatments, and Dr Sin Yong decides the plan after examining you.

What is the difference between HIFU, Ultherapy, Thermage and VF Lift – Vertical Facelift?

HIFU and Ultherapy use focused ultrasound at set depths; Ultherapy adds imaging. Thermage FLX heats the deep dermis with monopolar radiofrequency. VF Lift – Vertical Facelift is Dr Sin Yong’s radiofrequency protocol on the CLASSYS Volnewmer, with Lift, Sculpt and Restore modes planned along vertical vectors.

Can non-surgical lifting replace a facelift?

Not for everyone. Non-surgical lifting can tighten and lift mild to moderate laxity with little recovery, but it cannot remove heavy excess skin. Where surgery would serve you better, that is said at assessment; facelift in Singapore: surgical vs non-surgical explains the difference.

How long do lifting and tightening results take to show?

Tightening from ultrasound, radiofrequency and laser develops gradually as collagen remodels, usually over two to six months, and varies between people. Threads reposition tissue straight away, with collagen building around them over the following months. Reviews are timed to match.

Why does Dr Sin Yong often recommend VF Lift – Vertical Facelift?

It is his own radiofrequency protocol, and nothing is injected, so there is no risk of overfilling. Its Restore mode is used for hollows such as the temples, cheeks and under the eyes, with change developing over the following weeks. Whether it suits you is decided at assessment.

Is there downtime after lifting treatments?

Most energy-based lifting allows a return to normal activities the same day, with redness, swelling or tenderness for hours to days. Threads usually mean bruising, swelling and tightness, and one to two days off work for most people. Your plan includes what to expect.
