Every doctor practising in Singapore must be registered. It is reasonable to ask a clinic who will perform your treatment and to check that person before you book.
It means a device manufacturer works with the doctor on how its platforms perform in clinical practice, and invites the doctor to share clinical expertise with other physicians at meetings and symposia. It is not a product endorsement for any individual patient.
Consultations are conducted in English. If you would be more comfortable in another language, mention it when you book and the clinic will tell you what can be arranged. You are also welcome to bring a family member or friend to help with translation and to take part in the discussion.
The clinic will confirm the consultation fee when you book; it is waived if you go ahead with any medical treatment. Treatment fees depend on the concern, the area, the number of sessions and what is found on examination, and they are explained in writing after the consultation rather than quoted in advance.
