Booking and preparing

Book on WhatsApp at +65 8815 3008. Tell us briefly what you would like to discuss, so that enough time is set aside. If you have records, product names or photographs from previous aesthetic treatments, bring them; if not, that is fine, and the examination fills the gaps.

It helps to write down your main concern and what you would like to change, as well as anything you definitely do not want. If you can, come without make-up on the area to be assessed, or allow a few minutes to remove it at the clinic.

Arrival

Forms and medical history

The clinic is on level 12 of Pacific Plaza at 9 Scotts Road. On arrival you complete a medical history form covering your medicines and supplements, allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding, past procedures and anything that affects healing, such as cold sores or keloid scars. This is not paperwork for its own sake: several of these answers change which treatments are suitable and when.

“A first visit should end with you understanding your skin better, not with a deposit. The decision can wait until you are ready.”
— Dr Sin Yong, Medical Director, IN Eternity Clinic
Photographs

Clinical photographs, with your consent

Standard clinical photographs are taken in consistent lighting and positions so that the face or area can be assessed carefully and compared fairly at later reviews. They are taken only with your consent, stored in your medical record and not published. You can ask questions about them, or decline, before any are taken. Our privacy notice explains how they are kept.

Assessment

What happens in the consultation

Dr Sin Yong conducts the consultation himself. He listens to what you want to change, then examines you at rest and on movement, in good light. Where earlier filler may be present, he may use ultrasound to see what is there before advising anything further.

He then explains what he sees, in plain language: what is causing the concern, which options could help, what each can and cannot do, the common effects and rare risks, and the alternatives, including doing nothing for now. You are encouraged to ask questions throughout. Our patient guides cover the main treatment families if you would like to read ahead.

The plan

Your plan, your quote, your decision

If treatment is appropriate, you receive a written plan and a written quote that sets out each stage. Plans are staged, with reviews, and are not sold as packages or time-limited deals. A consultation fee applies and is waived if you go ahead with any medical treatment; the current amount is confirmed when you book. See fees and what is included.

You are free to take the plan home, think it over, ask more questions or seek another opinion. Nothing is booked until you decide.

Same day?

Can I have treatment on the same day?

Sometimes. If the treatment is suitable, there is time, and you are ready, some procedures can be done at the same visit. Many people prefer to go home and decide later, and that is equally welcome. Some treatments need preparation first, such as pausing certain skincare or timing around events; the downtime planner helps with that.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How long is the first consultation?

Consultations typically take 30 to 45 minutes. That allows time for your medical history, clinical photographs, an examination and an unhurried discussion of the options. If you have several concerns, Dr Sin Yong may focus on the main one first and plan the others in stages, so that each decision is made with a clear picture.

Is there a consultation fee?

Yes, a consultation fee applies. The consultation fee is waived if you go ahead with any medical treatment. The current amount is confirmed when you book on WhatsApp at +65 8815 3008. Treatment costs are set out separately in a written quote after assessment, so you know what each part of the plan covers before you decide.

Do I have to book treatment at the first visit?

No. The first visit is for assessment and advice. You leave with a written plan and quote and can decide later, ask more questions or seek another opinion. IN Eternity Clinic does not sell prepaid packages or time-limited deals, so there is no reason to decide on the spot.

Who will I see?

Dr Sin Yong, Medical Director of IN Eternity Clinic, personally conducts consultations. He examines you, explains the options and answers your questions. If treatment goes ahead, it is performed or directed by him. Clinic staff help with forms, clinical photographs and scheduling around your time with the doctor.

What should I bring?

A list of your medicines and supplements, details of any allergies, records or product names from previous aesthetic treatments if you have them, and older photographs of yourself if a change has happened over time. Come without make-up on the area if you can, or allow a few minutes to remove it at the clinic.

What if I am not suitable for a treatment?

Dr Sin Yong will tell you, and explain why. Sometimes another option would serve you better, sometimes the timing is wrong, for example during pregnancy or after recent isotretinoin (a prescription acne medicine), and sometimes the most useful advice is to wait. An honest “not now” is part of a careful consultation.
