Who writes and reviews our pages?

Content is drafted by the clinic's content team and medically reviewed by Dr Sin Yong, Medical Director, before it is published. The reviewer's name and the review date appear on each treatment page and guide.

How do we choose our sources?

  • Peer-reviewed clinical studies, systematic reviews and consensus papers, cited in a References list on the page.
  • Product information from manufacturers and Singapore regulators where it is relevant, such as the Health Sciences Authority.
  • Figures and rates are checked against the original abstract before they are used, and are given with their source.

What do we not publish?

  • Patient testimonials, photographs comparing how patients looked earlier and later, or promises about results.
  • Comparisons that rank us against other clinics, or superlative claims about ourselves.
  • Treatment prices other than the consultation fee; prices are given in writing after assessment.

These rules follow the Healthcare Services (Advertisement) Regulations and the Singapore Medical Council's Ethical Code and Ethical Guidelines.

How often are pages updated?

Treatment pages and guides are reviewed when new evidence, devices or regulations change what we would tell a patient, and at least once a year. The "Updated" date on a page shows its most recent review.

Is this website medical advice?

No. Our pages explain treatments in general terms. Whether a treatment suits you depends on an assessment by a doctor, and outcomes vary between people. If you have a medical concern after any treatment, contact the clinic that treated you, and for an emergency call 995.

How do I report an error?

Email globalkol@ineternityclinic.com with the page address and what looks wrong. Corrections are reviewed by Dr Sin Yong. Related: References, Safety, Image use and licensing.
