Skin boosters change the condition of the skin, not the shape of the face. Nothing is added to lift a cheek or fill a fold; the product is placed in the dermis to work on hydration, elasticity and surface texture. What counts as a skin booster

The label is used for a set of injectables with one thing in common: they work on how the skin behaves, not where tissue sits. Crêpey texture, fine surface lines, a tired or flat look and loss of bounce are what boosters are used for. Restoring lost volume or changing contour is a different task.

Getting that split right matters more than choosing a brand. Hollowing under the cheekbone is a volume problem and is answered with filler. Thin, slack, dehydrated skin is a quality problem — adding filler to it makes the face heavier without making the skin itself any better.

Booster families and what each one does

Hyaluronic acid (HA) boosters bind water in the dermis and support its structure. Profhilo belongs to this family but behaves differently from a standard HA booster: it combines high- and low-molecular-weight HA that is heat-stabilised instead of chemically cross-linked, so it disperses through the tissue after injection rather than sitting as a deposit.

Polynucleotide boosters such as Rejuran use purified DNA fragments (sourced from salmon) and are chosen when the aim is to support fibroblast activity and the surrounding dermal matrix, rather than simply to hydrate.

PDLLA (poly-D,L-lactic acid) is a biostimulator: a resorbable polymer that prompts the skin to lay down its own collagen gradually over the following weeks, then breaks down. The family that fits depends on what the examination shows your skin lacks — water, dermal support or collagen — and that is decided in the consultation room at IN Eternity Clinic, not from a menu.

Where boosters fit in a wider skin plan

Skin quality has several contributors, and a booster only reaches some of them. It works on the dermis; it does nothing for brown pigment and it cannot reposition tissue that has descended.

Pigment is a laser question. Descent of the mid-face and jawline is a lifting question, usually answered with energy-based devices. In practice a booster is often one part of a plan that also includes one of these, rather than a replacement for them.

What Determines the Cost

Treatment at IN Eternity Clinic is planned individually, so the cost follows the plan rather than a fixed list. The factors that shape it are discussed at consultation:

Treatment area. Face alone, or face with neck or hands — more surface means more product and time.
Assessment findings. Two people with the same complaint can need different families of booster.
Single or combined plan. Some skin needs a booster only; some needs a booster alongside laser or lifting.
Spacing of sessions. A course spread over several visits is priced differently from a single session.

We do not quote a number before seeing your skin, because it would not describe your plan. The cost is set out in writing at the consultation, before you agree to anything.

It depends on the booster family, the number of areas and how many sessions the plan spreads over. Since those differ from person to person, a figure given before assessment would be a guess. Dr Sin Yong sets out the cost at your consultation once the plan is agreed.

The product is placed across the area with fine needles or a cannula, in a pattern set by the product used and the area treated. Numbing and comfort are discussed and adjusted as the session goes.

The immediate glow from a skin booster lasts around one to two weeks, while regular sessions sustain longer-term skin quality. Your ideal interval is discussed as part of your plan.
