Profhilo Singapore — Not a Filler. A Skin Booster Bio-Remodeller.

Profhilo is a high-concentration hyaluronic acid skin booster injectable — but it is not a dermal filler. At 64mg in 2ml, produced without chemical cross-linking agents (BDDE), it spreads bio-integratively through the tissue rather than staying localised.

Laboratory studies of the product suggest it stimulates several collagen types and elastin. The aim is better skin quality from within rather than added volume or a surface effect; the visible change is gradual and varies between people.

Bio Aesthetic Points (BAP) are five anatomically defined injection points per side of the face — chosen to allow even spread while keeping away from major vessels and nerves. Dr Sin Yong customises these points for each patient based on individual facial anatomy, degree of skin laxity, and the specific zones showing the earliest quality decline. This aims for even spread across the areas that need it most.

Session 1 — Foundation (Week 0)
2ml injected across the customised BAP points. H-HA immediately begins providing structural scaffolding. L-HA begins deeply hydrating the tissue. The remodelling response develops over the following weeks. Mild injection-point bumps resolve within 24–48 hours.

Session 2 — Amplification (Week 4)
The second session builds on the collagen foundation established in session 1. By week 4, many people notice better hydration and texture. The second session builds on the first.

What are the BAP points in Profhilo?

BAP stands for Bio Aesthetic Points: five injection points on each side of the face, chosen because they sit away from the main blood vessels and nerves and allow the gel to spread evenly through the skin. They lie around the cheekbone, beside the base of the nose, in front of the ear, near the angle of the jaw and beside the chin. A small bolus of 0.2 ml is placed at each point, so one 2 ml syringe covers both sides of the face.

Because Profhilo is not cross-linked, the gel spreads from each point over the following day, which is why the small bumps flatten within 24 to 48 hours. Dr Sin Yong adjusts the points slightly to each face, for example moving a point where the skin is thinner or adding emphasis where crepiness starts. The neck and hands can be treated with their own point patterns.

Will people notice I had Profhilo?

On the day, the small bumps at the injection points can be visible at close range, so most people avoid important events for a day or two. Once they settle, the change is gradual: people tend to notice that your skin looks fresher or more hydrated rather than that you have had an injectable. Nothing about your features or proportions changes.

Can I go back to work the same day after Profhilo?

Yes, most people return to work straight away. The bumps are small and settle within about a day, and the injection points can be covered with make-up the following morning. It is sensible to avoid heavy exercise, saunas, alcohol and facial massage for around 24 hours to keep swelling and bruising to a minimum.

What is the difference between Profhilo and Profhilo Structura?
