Anti-wrinkle injections are priced by the dose each muscle needs and the areas treated. At IN Eternity Clinic on Orchard Road, Dr Sin Yong examines your expressions first, then gives you a written quote.
WhatsApp to Enquire →Key facts ↓Anti-wrinkle injection price in Singapore depends on the number of units each muscle needs, how many areas are treated, which product is used and whether a review visit is included. Units of different products are not interchangeable, so compare doses only within the same product. At IN Eternity Clinic, Dr Sin Yong gives a written quote after examining your expressions.
Anti-wrinkle injections are often advertised by area, “per unit” or as a single figure for “three areas”. Each is a shorthand for the same underlying question: how much of which product does each muscle need? A slight frown and a strong one can need quite different doses. Men often need more than women. A forehead treated on its own needs a different approach from a forehead treated together with the frown, because the muscles balance one another.
So a single price can be accurate only for an average face. The useful comparison is between written plans: which areas, which product, how many units in each, who injects and whether review is included. Several brands of botulinum toxin type A are registered in Singapore (e.g. Botox, Dysport, Xeomin), and that choice also changes the arithmetic.

The main factors are summarised in the table.
| Factor | What changes | Why it affects cost |
|---|---|---|
| Units | Dose for each muscle | Product cost scales with dose |
| Areas | Frown, forehead, crow’s feet, jaw, neck | Each area has its own dose range |
| Product | Which registered brand | Units and pricing differ by product |
| Doctor time | Assessment and placement | Precise placement takes examination |
| Review | Check at about two weeks | Allows a measured adjustment |
| Frequency | How often you return | Sets the yearly cost |
Units. Consensus guidance gives dose ranges for each facial area rather than fixed amounts, because muscle mass and movement vary. The dose that softens one person’s frown may be too little or too much for another. A quote that names a dose range for each area, and explains where you are likely to sit within it, is more useful than a flat price. A first treatment often starts at a conservative dose, with the review used to judge whether more is needed.
Product. Units of one brand of botulinum toxin type A do not equal units of another. Clinical conversion ratios have been studied, and one product’s units are not a direct swap for another’s. That means “per unit” prices can only be compared between quotes that use the same product. It also means a very cheap per-unit price for an unnamed product tells you almost nothing. At IN Eternity Clinic the product is named in the quote.
Areas beyond the face. The masseter for jaw slimming, neck bands, the trapezius for shoulder slimming and the underarm for excessive sweating are larger muscles or larger areas and need considerably higher doses than a frown. They are quoted separately for that reason.
“I price the dose your muscles need, not a number on a menu. Sometimes that means fewer units than you expected, and I will say so.”
The effect of an anti-wrinkle injection is judged at about two weeks, when it has reached its peak. That is the right time to see whether movement is softened evenly, whether the brows sit where they should and whether a small adjustment would help. A review is part of a careful treatment, not an extra.
The quote should say whether this review is included and, if a small adjustment is needed, how it is charged. Clinics vary in how they handle this, and knowing in advance avoids awkwardness later. A clinic that does not offer a review at all is leaving the outcome to chance.
Review also builds a record. Noting the product, dose and areas at each visit, and how long the effect lasted, lets the next treatment be adjusted precisely rather than guessed. Over a few visits this usually means a dose that suits you better and fewer surprises, which is worth more than a small saving on any single session.

Because the effect wears off over a few months, the yearly cost is the price of each treatment multiplied by how often you return. Many people come back two to four times a year; some find that with regular treatment the interval lengthens or the dose they need falls. Others prefer to let the effect wear off fully before deciding again.
It is worth discussing this at the first consultation, because a low price for one session does not always mean a low yearly cost. A dose matched to the muscle that lasts a reasonable time can mean fewer visits; an under-dosed or over-diluted treatment that fades quickly can mean more. The goal is the smallest dose that gives the effect you want for a sensible length of time, reviewed as you go.
Anti-wrinkle injections soften lines caused by movement. Lines etched into the skin at rest, crepey texture, sagging and volume loss respond little, and paying for more units will not change that. Heavy upper eyelids or a low brow can be made worse by forehead treatment, which is why brows and lids are examined first.
Treatment is also not appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding, for some people with neuromuscular conditions, or where certain medicines interact. Your history is reviewed before anything is quoted. If injections are not the right tool, Dr Sin Yong will tell you what would suit the concern better, whether skin-quality treatment for etched lines or an energy-based treatment for laxity.
A fair quote names the areas to be treated, the product and the planned dose or dose range for each area, and who will inject. It should say whether the price is per unit, per area or for the whole plan, whether the review at two weeks is included, and how any adjustment is charged. It should also mention what the treatment will not do: static lines etched into the skin at rest often need other treatment as well. Ask, too, whether the quoted dose is a fixed amount or a maximum, and what happens if less is needed on the day.
Because botulinum toxin is a prescription medicine, the doctor should take a medical history, ask about pregnancy, breastfeeding, neuromuscular conditions and medicines, and explain the common side effects, such as bruising, headache and, occasionally, a drooping brow or eyelid. That discussion is part of the cost, and it is not optional.
An unnamed product. If the clinic cannot tell you which brand you are receiving, you cannot judge the dose or the price. Very cheap units. Unregistered imports, over-diluted product and product of unknown storage history are all possibilities. Injection by a non-doctor, or outside a clinic. In Singapore, this is a prescription medicine to be given by a doctor.
Unlimited units for a fixed fee. Dose should be decided by the muscle, not by a pricing gimmick. Prepaid bundles sold on the day. How often you need treatment depends on your response, which is not known before the first session. Ask, too, how the product has been stored. More on spotting these signs is in aesthetic clinic red flags and how to check a clinic licence.
Dr Sin Yong watches you frown, raise your brows, smile and talk before deciding anything. He examines brow position, eyelid heaviness and the balance between muscles, because softening one area can change another. He then decides the areas and the dose for each, and whether a lighter, more spread-out approach such as micro-dose anti-wrinkle treatment suits better than a standard dose.
You receive a written quote that states the areas, the product, the planned dose, who injects and how the review at about two weeks works. Nothing is added on the day without your agreement. More detail on the treatment itself is on the anti-wrinkle injections page.
It depends on the number of units each area needs, how many areas are treated, which product is used and whether review is included. A single frown treatment and a plan covering frown, forehead and crow’s feet differ considerably. At IN Eternity Clinic, Dr Sin Yong examines your expressions and gives a written quote before treatment.
Per-unit pricing ties cost to dose; per-area pricing gives a fixed figure for a usual dose range. Both can be fair if the product and planned dose are stated. Neither is useful if the product is unnamed or the dose is not written down.
No. Units of different botulinum toxin type A products are not equivalent, so a per-unit price for one cannot be compared directly with another. Compare complete plans that name the product and state the dose for each area. That is the fair basis for comparison.
This varies between clinics, so ask. At IN Eternity Clinic the written quote states how the review at about two weeks works and how any small adjustment is handled, so you know before treatment rather than after. Clinics differ on this, so it is worth asking everywhere.
Effects usually last a few months, varying with the area, dose and your own metabolism. Many people return two to four times a year, but the interval is decided by how your face responds, not by a fixed schedule sold in advance.
The masseter is a much larger muscle and needs a considerably higher dose. Larger areas such as the shoulders or underarms also need more product. These are quoted as separate treatments after assessment. Each is reviewed in the same way as facial treatment, at around two weeks.
No. In Singapore botulinum toxin is a prescription medicine that must be prescribed and administered by a doctor. If someone other than a doctor offers to inject it, that is a reason to walk away whatever the price. You can check a clinic’s licence before booking.
