WhatsApp to Enquire →Key facts ↓Most injectable and energy-based treatments need between a few days and two weeks before an important event, while resurfacing lasers and skin-lesion removal need three to four weeks. Use the planner for a first guide, then confirm your timeline with Dr Sin Yong on WhatsApp.

Typical downtime means visible redness, swelling, bruising, flaking or small scabs that most people would want to cover. It is not the same as full healing or the final result, which for collagen-building treatments can take months.
If your suggested date has already passed, a gentler option may still fit. Dr Sin Yong can suggest treatments with little visible downtime, or plan the stronger treatment for after your event.
“The safest treatment before an event is the one you have had before. The final week is for rest, not experiments.”
Six months out: start resurfacing or acne scar work, which needs several sessions. Three months out: skin boosters or collagen stimulators. Six weeks out: final laser toning or pigment sessions. Two weeks out: anti-wrinkle injections and light facials only. The final week: nothing new. See the full event skin plan.

It uses typical ranges from clinical practice. Your own downtime depends on your skin type, the area treated, the settings used and how you look after your skin afterwards. Dr Sin Yong confirms the timing at your assessment.

Avoid trying a new treatment or new strong skincare in the final week, and avoid strong sun after any laser. Bring your event date to your consultation.
