Z Lift

The Z-Lift — Firmed Exactly Where It Counts

The Z-Lift is a zone-specific protocol within skin tightening in Singapore: each area of the face receives energy set for its own degree of laxity, directed by Medical Director Dr Sin Yong.

In short

The Z-Lift is Dr Sin Yong’s zone-specific skin tightening protocol: the face is mapped zone by zone, and each zone receives an energy type, depth and intensity set for its own degree of laxity. It suits people with mild to moderate laxity concentrated in particular areas, such as the jowls, under the chin or around the eyes.

Key facts
  • Concept: The face is mapped into zones, and each zone receives its own energy type, depth and intensity
  • Zones: Jowl, submental, periorbital, temporal, nasolabial and marionette
  • Intensity: Higher in the jowl and under the chin; lower and more superficial around the eyes
  • Nothing injected: An energy-based protocol; nothing pierces the skin
  • Review: Zones are reassessed at four to six weeks; some benefit from a second session at three to six months
  • Combination: Used alone or as a precision add-on to VF Lift – Vertical Facelift or Time Freeze Laser LCLR®
  • Assessed by: Medical Director Dr Sin Yong at IN Eternity Clinic, 9 Scotts Road
The Concept

Targeted Rather Than Broad

Conventional energy-based facial treatments apply energy broadly across the face in a uniform pattern. The Z-Lift protocol maps each patient's individual pattern of laxity, volume loss and skin quality change — and assigns an energy modality and intensity calibrated to that specific zone. The jowl zone may receive more aggressive lifting energy while the periorbital zone receives gentler, more superficial energy. This zone-specific approach puts energy where it is needed, with less total energy on areas that do not need it.

Zone Mapping

Every Face Is Individually Mapped

Dr Sin Yong identifies and maps the patient's zones of concern at consultation — defining which zones require deep lifting, which require surface tightening, and which require minimal intervention. Energy delivery is then calibrated per zone: type, frequency, intensity and depth. The result is a treatment that addresses your face's specific needs rather than applying a uniform protocol to every patient.

Zones That Can Be Targeted

Jowl Zone

High-intensity focal energy to the jowl and pre-jowl sulcus for targeted lifting and tissue tightening in the most common area of descent.

Submental Zone

Targeted energy to the submental fat and platysmal bands for an improved neck-chin transition and reduced double chin.

Periorbital Zone

Gentle focal energy to address under-eye hollowing, fine lines and skin laxity around the eye — a zone requiring precise, low-intensity delivery.

Temporal Zone

Lifting energy to the temple and lateral brow for improved brow position and reduced temporal hollowing.

Nasolabial Zone

Focal energy to the tissue causing nasolabial folds — addressing the fold without relying solely on volume augmentation.

Marionette Zone

Targeted protocol for the marionette and pre-jowl region to lift descended tissue and define the lower facial contour.

The Z-Lift Protocol

01
Zone Assessment

Dr Sin Yong maps each zone of the face individually, assigning a severity grade and selecting the optimal energy type and depth for each.

02
Zone-by-Zone Treatment

Energy is delivered to each zone using the calibrated protocol for that zone — different intensity, depth and modality as needed.

03
Integration Review

After all zones are treated, Dr Sin Yong reviews the overall result and performs final adjustments.

04
Progressive Development

Results in each zone develop at different rates. A review at 4–6 weeks allows assessment of zone-specific outcomes and planning for any follow-up.

Comfort

Does it hurt? Comfort and numbing

Because each zone is treated differently, the Z-Lift feels different from one area to the next. Higher-intensity focal energy in the jowl and submental zones is felt as deeper warmth or brief deep pulses; the periorbital zone receives gentle, low-intensity energy and feels much milder. Nothing pierces the skin, and settings are adjusted to your feedback zone by zone.

Many people need no numbing; numbing cream can be applied beforehand where helpful, particularly if the jowl and jawline are being treated intensively. Afterwards the skin may look slightly flushed and feel warm for an hour or two, and treated zones can feel mildly tender to touch for a day. Tell the clinic about recent fillers, threads or other energy treatments in the same areas, as timing and settings may be adjusted.

What to expect

What to expect, day by day

Because each zone is treated at its own intensity, recovery is short but can differ from zone to zone. The timeline below describes the common pattern.

Questions

More questions answered

Can I go back to work the same day after the Z-Lift?

Yes. Redness and warmth usually settle within an hour or two, and make-up can be applied the same day. Some people feel mild tenderness in the jowl or under the chin for a day. There is no wound to care for.

Will people notice I had the Z-Lift?

Not on the day. Because the change develops gradually and only in the zones that needed it, people tend to notice a cleaner jawline or fresher eyes over the following weeks rather than a treated look. Nothing is injected, so your features stay your own.

“Laxity is rarely even across a face. Giving every zone the same energy over-treats some areas and under-treats others.”

Frequently Asked Questions — Z-Lift

The Z Lift is a zone-specific lifting protocol at IN Eternity Clinic that concentrates energy on precisely mapped focal areas of the face for targeted lifting and tightening, rather than treating the whole face uniformly. It suits patients wanting definition in specific zones, and is planned and delivered by Medical Director Dr Sin Yong.

Standard treatments apply uniform energy across the face. The Z-Lift maps each zone individually and assigns a specific energy type, intensity and depth to each — resulting in more targeted outcomes and a more efficient use of energy.

Many patients notice a change after one session. A second session may be recommended at 3–6 months for zones where more progressive remodelling is desired.

Both. Z-Lift can be used as a standalone targeted treatment for patients with zone-specific concerns, or as a precision add-on to a broader lifting protocol such as the VF Lift or Time Freeze Laser.

The jowl, submental and nasolabial zones typically show the most pronounced response. Periorbital and temporal zones also respond well with appropriate energy calibration.

Results vary by zone and energy modality used. Lifting effects in the jowl and submental zones often last 12–18 months, varying between people. Collagen stimulation results continue to develop for 3–6 months after treatment.

Pricing depends on the areas treated and the depth and extent of work your result needs. Because the plan is matched to your face, IN Eternity Clinic gives a plan and cost after assessment rather than a fixed price.

Most patients feel warmth or brief deep pulses as energy is delivered, with settings adjusted for comfort. Any sensation is momentary and passes as each area is completed. What to expect is explained beforehand at IN Eternity Clinic.

VF Lift – Vertical Facelift is a full-face lifting protocol on CLASSYS Volnewmer radiofrequency. The Z Lift concentrates energy on mapped zones that need more or less work, so it is used where laxity is uneven, either alone or alongside a full-face protocol.

The submental zone covers the area under the chin and the angle between chin and neck. Laxity lower down the neck, and vertical neck bands, are assessed separately because they respond to different treatment.

It can be. Early laxity often shows in one or two places first, such as the jawline or under the eyes, and a zone-specific plan treats those without putting energy where it is not yet needed.
