A device name is not a treatment plan. Each one delivers a particular kind of energy to a particular layer, and the same concern can need different devices in different people. Six devices have their own pages, linked in the first column; the rest are described below and on their treatment pages. The full list of treatments is in treatments A–Z.

Pigment and tattoos

Which lasers treat pigment and tattoos?

Two picosecond-and-Q-switched lasers, the Fotona StarWalker PQX and the DEKA TORO, treat pigment, tattoos and uneven tone; the choice depends on the pigment.

Fotona StarWalker PQX

A Fotona laser platform that combines picosecond pulses with Q-switched Nd:YAG at 1064 nm and Q-switched KTP Nd:YAG at 532 nm, with fractional modes [1]. At IN Eternity Clinic it runs the R2 Glow brightening protocol and is used for sun spots, freckles, post-acne marks, cautious melasma care and tattoo removal in Singapore. Device page: Fotona StarWalker PQX.

DEKA TORO

A DEKA Q-switched Nd:YAG system with picosecond and nanosecond emissions at 785, 532 and 1064 nm, plus a longer Thermal-Mode [2]. It runs T2 Frax Radiance, which pairs 785 nm picosecond pigment pulses with a thermal pulse for collagen, and low-energy 1064 nm laser toning, and is used for pigment and tattoos. Device page: DEKA TORO.

Both lasers are covered together in pico laser in Singapore and pigmentation treatment in Singapore.

Resurfacing and skin quality

Which lasers resurface skin and treat scars, redness and pores?

The DEKA Tetra Pro CO2 laser handles deeper scars and resurfacing; the FSX laser and the 675 nm laser treat skin quality, redness and pores with less downtime.

DEKA Tetra Pro

A DEKA carbon dioxide laser at 10,600 nm, with PSD pulse shapes and DOT and Scar 3 scanning systems [3]. It vaporises microscopic columns of skin to remodel collagen, and is used for acne scars through the SCAR3 (S3) protocol (see CO2 laser for acne scars) and 4D Scar Reconstruction, for lighter resurfacing for texture, and small benign lesions such as syringomas and xanthelasma. Healing usually takes about five to seven days. Device page: DEKA Tetra Pro.

FSX laser

The FSX Laser (Flawless Smooth Skin) is the clinic’s own non-ablative protocol using thulium and erbium glass laser energy. Dr Sin Yong uses it for five things: redness, enlarged pores and oiliness, loose skin, pigmentation including dark marks left by acne, and active acne; on the face, neck and eyelids, and for acne scars. Compared with S3 resurfacing on the Tetra Pro, it leaves less visible scabbing, so recovery is easier to manage. See also fractional laser in Singapore.

675 nm laser (Shaonu Guang)

The 675 nm laser (少女光, Shaonu Guang) is the DEKA RedTouch Pro, a fractional laser whose 675 nm energy is absorbed mainly by collagen rather than water, delivered with contact cooling while the surface stays intact. It is used for redness-prone skin, enlarged pores, texture and early laxity, and can help control rosacea-related redness without curing rosacea.

Hair removal

Which laser is used for laser hair removal?

All laser hair removal at IN Eternity Clinic uses the Lutronic Clarity II, which carries a 755 nm Alexandrite laser and a 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser.

Lutronic Clarity II

A dual-wavelength laser hair removal platform with cryogen cooling and IntelliTrak roller delivery [4]. The 755 nm wavelength suits finer hair on lighter skin; the 1064 nm wavelength is absorbed less by skin pigment and suits darker or tanned skin. A course timed to the hair cycle aims for long-term hair reduction. See laser hair removal in Singapore and the device page, Lutronic Clarity II.

Lifting and tightening

Which devices are used for lifting and tightening?

Focused ultrasound on the CLASSYS Ultraformer MPT and monopolar radiofrequency on the CLASSYS Volnewmer are the clinic’s two lifting devices, used for separate treatments.

CLASSYS Ultraformer MPT

A high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) device with Micro-Pulsed Technology and interchangeable cartridges, including face depths of 1.5, 2.0, 3.0 and 4.5 mm [5]. It heats small points in the dermis and the SMAS layer, and at IN Eternity Clinic it is used for one treatment only: HIFU in Singapore, for mild to moderate laxity of the face and neck. Device page: CLASSYS Ultraformer MPT. Results build over two to three months as collagen remodels, and heavy sagging still calls for a surgical opinion.

CLASSYS Volnewmer

A monopolar radiofrequency device at 6.78 MHz with continuous water cooling and four tips, from the eyelids to the body [6]. It heats the dermis and fibrous septa broadly rather than at focal points, and it is the platform for Dr Sin Yong’s VF Lift – Vertical Facelift, with its Lift, Sculpt and Restore modes. Device page: CLASSYS Volnewmer.

Both CLASSYS platforms are described together in CLASSYS platforms at IN Eternity. Ultherapy and Thermage FLX are also offered as treatments; see skin tightening in Singapore.

Facials

Which devices are used in medical facials?

Three devices support the clinic’s facials: LDM dual-frequency ultrasound, Hydrafacial vortex suction, and the Deep Synergy Booster delivered with ultrasound.

LDM

The LDM ultrasound facial uses LDM® (Low Dose Megahertz) ultrasound at two frequencies, through a gel, with no heat and no injury to the surface. The higher frequency acts near the surface for hydration and barrier support; the lower one reaches the dermis. It suits dehydrated, sensitive or post-procedure skin, usually as a course, and is part of the Triple Hydrating LDM Hydrofacial for redness-prone skin.

Hydrafacial

Hydrafacial in Singapore sessions cleanse, exfoliate, extract and hydrate in one visit of about 30 to 60 minutes, using vortex suction and serums. It suits congested, dull or dehydrated skin, and most people return to their day straight after. It works on the surface, not on melasma, acne scars or loose skin.

Deep Synergy Booster

The Deep Synergy Booster is a CLASSYS skin-booster ampoule spread on cleansed skin and carried in with ultrasound delivery, so nothing is injected. It is chosen for dehydration, dullness and rough texture in people who want a booster without needles. It is not a substitute for injectable skin boosters where a measured amount must be placed in a specific layer.

Body

Which devices are used for body contouring?

Onda Pro microwave energy treats localised fat, cellulite and loose skin; Z Sculpt electromagnetic stimulation works on muscle tone. Neither is a weight-loss treatment.

Onda Pro

Onda Pro is DEKA’s microwave platform. At 2.45 GHz its Coolwaves energy is absorbed more by fat than by the skin above, so it can reduce localised fat and act on cellulite and loose skin while a cooled handpiece protects the surface. It is used on the body and, with a slimmer handpiece, on facial areas such as under the chin; see double chin treatment.

Z Sculpt

Z Sculpt uses electromagnetic stimulation to make the muscles under the applicator contract strongly and repeatedly, building tone and reducing some fat in the treated zone over a course of four to six sessions. It suits people near their target weight who want firmer definition of the abdomen, buttocks, arms or thighs; see Emsculpt vs Z Sculpt.

Choosing

How does Dr Sin Yong choose a device?

The diagnosis comes first: what the concern is, which layer it sits in and what your skin tolerates; the device follows from that, and sometimes the answer is no device.

  • Target. Pigment, ink, water in skin, hair, collagen, fat or muscle: each device is built for some targets and not others.
  • Depth. Surface pigment, dermal collagen, the SMAS layer and fat sit at different depths, and each device reaches some of them.
  • Skin type. In skin types III to V, heat and injury can trigger darkening, which shapes the choice of wavelength, energy and spacing.
  • Downtime. A week of healing after CO2 suits some plans and not others; non-ablative options trade speed for gentleness.
  • Combination and order. Many plans combine two devices, or a device with an injectable, in a planned sequence.

IN Eternity Clinic is a designated DEKA Centre of Excellence (2026). Device makers including CLASSYS, DEKA, Fotona, Hironic and Ilooda have invited Dr Sin Yong to share his clinical expertise internationally. Neither fact means you will be treated on a particular brand: the device is chosen for the tissue. Each treatment’s downtime and sessions are compared in aesthetic treatments compared.

Checking

How can I check a device used in Singapore?

Ask for the maker and model, check how the product is registered with the Health Sciences Authority, and ask who assesses you and who operates the device.

Medical devices supplied in Singapore are regulated by the Health Sciences Authority, and HSA registration explained shows how to look a product up. A clinic licensed by the Ministry of Health has a licence number you can check; IN Eternity Clinic’s is MDS/001/252, listed with its other details in clinic facts. It is also reasonable to ask how settings are chosen for your skin type, and what happens if something does not go to plan.

At assessment

What Dr Sin Yong checks before choosing a device

  • What the concern actually is, and whether a device is the right tool for it at all.
  • Which layer the target sits in: surface, dermis, SMAS, fat or muscle.
  • Your skin type, tanning and history of darkening, scarring or keloids.
  • Implanted devices, metal implants, pregnancy and medicines that change what is safe.
  • How much downtime you can accept, and when your next event or trip is.
  • Whether two treatments in a planned order would serve you better than one.

General clinical observations used at consultation; they describe what is checked, not any individual result.

“The designation is about how a platform is used, not which platform you get. If another device suits your skin better, that is the one I use.”

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Which lasers does IN Eternity Clinic use?

Six lasers: the Fotona StarWalker PQX and DEKA TORO for pigment, tattoos and toning; the DEKA Tetra Pro CO2 laser for scars and resurfacing; the Lutronic Clarity II for hair removal; the FSX laser (thulium and erbium glass) for skin quality and acne; and the 675 nm laser for redness and pores.

Which pico lasers are available at IN Eternity Clinic?

Two: the Fotona StarWalker PQX and the DEKA TORO. Both deliver picosecond and Q-switched pulses. The TORO adds a 785 nm picosecond wavelength and a thermal mode; the StarWalker PQX offers Fotona’s fractional modes. Dr Sin Yong chooses per pigment and skin type, and some plans use both.

Which HIFU device does IN Eternity Clinic use?

The CLASSYS Ultraformer MPT, a focused-ultrasound device with interchangeable cartridges and a micro-pulsed mode. It is used for HIFU lifting of the face and neck. Ultherapy is also offered as a separate treatment.

Which device is used for VF Lift – Vertical Facelift?

The CLASSYS Volnewmer, a monopolar radiofrequency device with continuous water cooling. VF Lift – Vertical Facelift runs on the Volnewmer alone and does not use focused ultrasound. It is Dr Sin Yong’s own protocol, with Lift, Sculpt and Restore modes planned zone by zone.

Which device is used for laser hair removal?

The Lutronic Clarity II, which carries a 755 nm Alexandrite laser and a 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser with cryogen cooling. The wavelength is chosen for your skin type and hair, so darker or tanned skin is usually treated at 1064 nm.

Does IN Eternity Clinic have a CO2 laser?

Yes. The DEKA Tetra Pro is a 10,600 nm CO2 laser used for acne scars, including the S3 protocol and 4D Scar Reconstruction, for lighter resurfacing of texture, and for small benign lesions such as syringomas and xanthelasma. Healing after fractional work usually takes about five to seven days.

Can I ask to be treated on a particular device?

You can ask, and Dr Sin Yong will explain whether that device suits your concern and skin. Where another device fits the target better, he says so and explains why. The device follows the diagnosis, not the brand.

Do I need a consultation before treatment on any of these devices?

Yes. Every device treatment at IN Eternity Clinic follows an assessment with Dr Sin Yong, who checks the concern, your skin type, medicines and medical history before choosing the device and settings. The consultation fee is waived with any medical treatment, and treatment fees are given in writing before anything is booked.
