In short · Doctor’s answer

Wart removal cost in Singapore depends on the type of wart, how many there are, where they are and how many sessions they need; plantar warts on the soles often need more. On 3 November 2026, two Singapore clinics published “from” prices of S$200 and S$380 per visit, so think in courses rather than single visits. More: wart removal in Singapore.

Market range

What Singapore clinics publish for wart removal (November 2026)

About these figures. They are list prices that other Singapore clinics publish on their own websites, read on 3 November 2026. They may have changed since, some exclude GST, “from” prices are the lowest listed, and no clinic is being rated. They are not IN Eternity Clinic’s prices. IN Eternity Clinic quotes after assessment; the consultation fee is S$120, waived with any medical treatment.

Few clinics publish a wart price, and those that do give “from” prices for a single visit. Because warts are a viral infection, two to four sessions are common.

Cost factors

What affects the cost of wart removal?

  • Type of wart. Common hand warts often clear sooner than plantar, mosaic or nail-fold warts.
  • Number and size. Several warts, or one large mosaic wart, take longer per session.
  • Site. Warts on the face or around nails need more care; on the soles, thick skin must be pared first.
  • Method. Freezing, radiofrequency, CO2 laser or acids are chosen by type and site.
  • Sessions. Two to four sessions, two to four weeks apart, are common; some warts need more.
A fair quote

What should a wart removal quote include?

  • The method and the expected number of sessions.
  • Whether each repeat session is priced the same.
  • What happens if a wart has not cleared by the end of the course.
  • GST, and whether the consultation fee is waived when you proceed.

Questions

Wart removal cost: questions

How much does it cost to remove a wart in Singapore?

On 3 November 2026, two Singapore clinics published “from” prices of S$200 per growth and S$380 per visit before GST. Because two to four sessions are common, the total depends on the type, number and site of warts. IN Eternity Clinic gives a written quote after examination.

Why do warts need more than one session?

Warts are caused by human papillomavirus, which can remain in the surrounding skin after the visible wart is treated. Repeat sessions a few weeks apart clear what remains and lower the chance of regrowth.

Are plantar warts more expensive to treat?

Often, because the thick skin of the sole must be pared down and plantar warts usually need more sessions than hand warts.

Can a GP remove warts?

Many GPs and polyclinics treat common warts with freezing. Warts that persist, sit on the face, under a nail or on the sole, or keep returning often need another method or a longer plan.

Is wart removal claimable on insurance?

Sometimes, if treatment is medically indicated, for example a painful plantar wart. Check with your insurer before treatment; clinics can provide an itemised invoice.

What the research says about wart treatment, and why sessions vary

What the research says
  • A Cochrane review of 85 trials (8,815 people) found that salicylic acid cleared more warts than placebo, while cryotherapy compared with placebo did not show a clear overall benefit; many of the trials had a high risk of bias [1].
  • In a randomised trial in people with plantar warts published in the BMJ, complete clearance at 12 weeks was 14% with salicylic acid and 14% with cryotherapy, with no difference between them [2]. Stubborn warts often need several visits, which is why cost is usually quoted per session.
  • The British Association of Dermatologists guideline sets out first- and second-line options for cutaneous warts, which helps explain why a doctor may change method if a wart does not respond [3].
