About This Treatment

Non-Surgical Nose Enhancement

The nose is the most prominent central feature of the face — and a significant contributor to facial harmony. Non-surgical rhinoplasty Singapore with Radiesse, Ellanse or HA filler can address bridge height, tip projection, columellar angle and lateral irregularities — producing immediate profile improvement without surgery, anaesthesia or recovery time.

The nose is also one of the highest-risk anatomical zones for filler injection — given the terminal vascularity and the proximity to the ophthalmic artery. Dr Sin Yong uses maximum safety protocols including direct sharp supraperiosteal injection technique, aspiration at each point, small aliquots and slow, incremental delivery. The supraperiosteal plane keeps the product on bone — away from superficial vessels — making it one of the safest approaches for nose augmentation.

Nose Filler Protocol

01
Anatomical Safety First
The nose has a complex, terminal vascular supply. Only doctors with detailed knowledge of nasal vascular anatomy and emergency protocols should perform nose filler. Dr Sin Yong uses a direct sharp needle supraperiosteal technique — placing filler directly on the periosteum to maximise structural projection and minimise vascular risk.
02
Bridge Heightening
Dr Sin Yong places Radiesse or Ellanse supraperiosteally along the nasal bridge — their high G-prime and minimal spread make them ideal for bridge heightening without creating an over-filled or avatar-nose appearance. HA filler is an alternative for patients requiring reversibility.
03
Tip Projection
Filler placed at the nasal tip advances and refines the tip — improving the overall nasal silhouette and the tip-lip relationship.
04
Reversibility
Dr Sin Yong primarily uses Radiesse or Ellanse for nose augmentation — chosen for their structural properties and minimal lateral spread, which preserves natural nasal contour. HA filler is used where reversibility is the priority and is fully dissolvable with Hyaluronidase.
05
Combination with Chin
Nose and chin filler are frequently combined — improving the nasal-mental axis that defines the profile harmony.

Frequently Asked Questions

The nose has a complex terminal vascular supply — occlusion of nasal vessels carries serious risks including skin necrosis and, in rare cases, vision compromise. Dr Sin Yong uses maximum safety protocols: direct sharp supraperiosteal injection technique, aspiration at every point, small aliquots per pass, and immediate access to Hyaluronidase for emergency dissolution where HA is used.
12–18 months depending on the filler product and individual metabolism.
Radiesse and Ellanse are Dr Sin Yong's preferred products — chosen for their superior structural properties. These are not dissolvable, but produce more natural and stable results. When reversibility is required, HA filler is used instead and is fully dissolvable with Hyaluronidase.
Immediate profile improvement — bridge height, tip projection and tip refinement can all be addressed. Results are visible immediately.
Topical anaesthetic is applied before treatment. Most patients describe mild pressure rather than significant pain.

What Nose Filler Can Achieve

Non-surgical rhinoplasty can raise a flat nasal bridge, camouflage a dorsal hump, lift a drooping tip, and improve symmetry — without incisions, anaesthesia or recovery time. Results are visible immediately and typically last 9–12 months.

What it cannot do: reduce nasal width, make a large nose physically smaller, or correct breathing problems. It is appropriate for subtle structural refinement — not a substitute for surgical rhinoplasty when significant structural change is needed.

Safety — Why the Nose Is High-Risk

The nose contains a dense arterial network that anastomoses with the ophthalmic artery. Injection into or adjacent to these vessels can cause skin necrosis or, in rare cases, vision loss via retrograde embolism. Cases of serious complications from nose filler have been reported in Singapore.

Dr Sin Yong performs all nose filler using the supraperiosteal sharp injection technique — placing product on the periosteum to avoid the vascular zones identified through anatomical study. Product volumes are conservative and staged across sessions for patients wanting significant augmentation. Hyaluronidase is always immediately available for emergency reversal.

Not every patient is a suitable candidate. Dr Sin Yong will decline to perform nose filler where risk is unacceptably high — including previous rhinoplasty patients with altered vascular anatomy.

Product Selection

Only Radiesse and Ellanse are Dr Sin Yong's preferred fillers for nose augmentation — their minimal spread and high G-prime provide structural projection without the avatar-nose risk of HA fillers. HA is also available and fully reversible with hyaluronidase — a critical safety advantage in the high-vascular nasal region. Radiesse and Ellanse are not used in the nose due to their non-reversible nature.

High-viscosity, low-water-absorption HA products are selected for their structural integrity and minimal spreading behaviour — maintaining a defined nasal shape without risk of lateral migration.

The Consultation Process

Dr Sin Yong photographs and measures each patient's nasal anatomy at consultation — dorsal height, tip projection, alar width, and the nasofrontal and nasolabial angles. He shows patients a realistic simulation of achievable results and discusses limitations clearly. Not every patient is a suitable candidate.

Patients with very thin nasal skin (where irregularities are more visible), previous rhinoplasty with altered tissue planes, or expectations beyond what filler can safely achieve will be counselled to consider surgical options or adjust expectations. Dr Sin Yong does not perform nose filler where the risk profile is unacceptably high.

A typical nose filler session takes 20–30 minutes. Mild swelling resolves within 48–72 hours. Final results visible at 2 weeks. Results typically last 9–12 months. Correction of previous nose filler complications using hyaluronidase is also offered.

Non-Surgical vs Surgical Rhinoplasty

Non-surgical rhinoplasty achieves meaningful aesthetic improvement for the right candidate — but it is not a substitute for surgical rhinoplasty when significant structural change is needed. Filler adds volume and height; it cannot remove tissue, narrow the nasal base, correct a deviated septum or improve airway function.

For patients who have had surgical rhinoplasty and want to refine minor residual irregularities — a small step remaining on the bridge, slight tip asymmetry — nose filler can provide useful non-surgical correction. However, previous rhinoplasty alters the vascular anatomy of the nose, which requires particularly careful assessment before any filler is placed. Dr Sin Yong will review surgical notes and assess anatomy thoroughly before proceeding.

All nose filler procedures are performed personally by Dr Sin Yong. Consultation fee S$120, waived with treatment. WhatsApp +65 8815 3008 to book.

Dr Sin Yong's preferred nose fillers are Radiesse and Ellanse — both provide high G-prime structural support with minimal lateral spread, which is critical for natural-looking nose augmentation. Unlike HA fillers, they do not spread to surrounding tissue, which prevents the flattened or "avatar nose" appearance that can occur with less precise products. HA filler is used where full reversibility is required by the patient.
Dr Sin Yong uses a direct sharp needle supraperiosteal injection technique — placing filler precisely on the periosteum (the layer covering the nasal bones). This supraperiosteal plane maximises structural projection and control, minimises lateral spread, and keeps the product away from superficial nasal vessels. Aspiration is performed at each injection point and product is delivered in small, incremental aliquots.

Non-surgical rhinoplasty in Singapore uses dermal filler to refine the nasal bridge and tip without surgery. For lifting effects, a nose thread lift in Singapore is an alternative approach Dr Sin Yong can discuss at consultation.

Nose Filler in Singapore — Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty

How nose filler works

Nose filler uses dermal filler to refine the bridge, smooth a bump or lift and project the tip — a non-surgical rhinoplasty that reshapes the nose without surgery or downtime. Results are immediate and controllable.

Nose filler or nose thread lift?

Some patients also consider a nose thread lift. Dr Sin Yong will advise which approach suits your nose and goals, prioritising safety given the delicate vascular anatomy of this area.

Safety and what to expect

Because the nose is a high-care area, it should only be treated by an experienced physician. Treatment is quick with minimal downtime, and the dermal filler can be adjusted over time.
