In short

Eyebrow embroidery price in Singapore depends on the technique, the experience of the person doing it, whether the perfecting touch-up is included, design time, numbing and aftercare, and whether old pigment must be corrected first. Quotes are hard to compare because inclusions differ. Correcting poor work often costs more than doing it carefully once. The cost is explained at consultation. See eyebrow embroidery in Singapore.

Key facts
  • Regulation varies: a dermatology review of permanent makeup found wide variation in the regulation and training required, and complications more common when hygiene and aftercare are poor [1].
  • Complications: in 1,352 clients after eyebrow or eyeliner permanent makeup, 12.1% reported a complication; the authors stress the right environment, equipment and technique [2].
  • Contaminated ink: 19 people developed Mycobacterium chelonae skin infections within three weeks of tattoos from one artist using a premixed grey ink; the same organism was found in an unopened bottle [3].
  • Pigment quality: of 41 inks on sale in the EU after 2022 limits, nickel exceeded the limit in 24, arsenic in 20 and chromium(VI) in 16 [4].
  • Fixing costs: in 75 women having unwanted eyebrow makeup removed, colour alone was the reason in 43.8%; laser series report about three sessions on average [5][6][7].
What decides cost

What decides eyebrow embroidery price in Singapore?

A brow quote is a bundle of time, skill, materials and follow-up. The same word, "embroidery", can describe a quick session with no touch-up or a long design appointment with a planned perfecting session and aftercare. The factors below explain most of the difference between eyebrow embroidery prices.

General factors only; no figures are given. What applies to you is explained at consultation.
FactorWhy it changes the costWhat to ask
TechniqueMicroblading, powder or ombre, and combination brows take different time and tools; combination brows are two techniques in oneWhich technique suits my skin, and why?
ExperienceMany studios price by the seniority of the artist; healed results depend on skill more than on the name of the techniqueWho will do my brows, and how often do they do brow work?
Touch-upSome quotes include the perfecting session at six to eight weeks; others charge it separatelyIs the touch-up included, and within what time?
Design timeMapping from your bone structure and agreeing the shape in a mirror can take a large part of the visitHow long is spent on mapping before pigment?
Numbing and materialsNumbing cream, sterile single-use needles and blades, and pigment are real costsAre needles single-use and opened in front of me? Which pigment?
Aftercare and reviewAftercare balm, a healed review and access to help if a reaction occursWho do I contact if it becomes red, swollen or lumpy?
Correction of old workOld brows that are dark, misplaced or discoloured may need laser lightening before a new designCan my old brow be covered safely, or should it be lightened first?
Comparing quotes

Why do eyebrow embroidery prices vary so much between studios?

In Singapore, cosmetic tattooing is generally provided as a beauty service, and each provider sets its own prices; there is no official price guide for it. Studios also describe the same work differently. "Misty", "ombre", "6D", "feather" and "Korean" are names for patterns or styles, not separate procedures, and a higher-priced name may involve the same tool and pigment as a lower-priced one. Price lists often split by artist level, include or exclude the touch-up, or quote a course of sessions, so two headline numbers can describe quite different things.

It also helps to think about cost over time rather than one visit. Eyebrow embroidery fades over one to three years. Hair strokes often need a colour boost at about 12 to 18 months, earlier on oily skin, while powder or ombre brows often go 18 to 30 months. A technique that suits your skin and fades evenly can mean fewer boosts; one that blurs on oily skin may need more work sooner. The patterns are explained in types of eyebrow embroidery.

Before you pay

What should you ask before paying for eyebrow embroidery?

A good quote answers safety questions as well as price ones. Ask who will do the work and whether you can see healed results at a year, not only fresh photos taken on the day. Ask whether a medical history is taken: allergies, eczema, keloid tendency, pregnancy, blood thinners and recent isotretinoin all change the plan. Ask whether needles and blades are single-use and opened in front of you, and which pigment will be used.

Ask what happens next. Is the perfecting touch-up included? Who reviews the brows if they become red, swollen or lumpy weeks later? If you ever want them lighter, who can do that, and how? A dermatology review of permanent makeup found that regulation and training requirements vary widely, and that infectious, allergic and inflammatory complications are more likely when hygiene and aftercare are not followed [1]. The answers to these questions are part of what you are paying for. More on choosing a provider is in how to choose an aesthetic clinic in Singapore.

Red flags

What are the red flags when brow embroidery cost looks low?

A low price is not a problem in itself; what it leaves out can be. Red flags include no questions about your health, needles or blades taken from an open tray rather than a sealed pack, pigment that cannot be named, no healed photos, a design started before you have agreed the shape in a mirror, pressure to book on the day, and a headline price that grows once the touch-up, numbing or aftercare are added.

These details matter because the risks are real, if uncommon. In a survey of 1,352 eyebrow and eyeliner clients, 12.1% reported a complication, mostly mild, with infection in 0.2%, and the authors stress that the right environment, equipment and technique are prerequisites [2]. Ink itself can carry infection: in one outbreak, 19 people developed Mycobacterium chelonae infections after tattoos from a single artist using premixed grey ink, matched to an unopened bottle, which led to a recall [3]. Pigment content also varies: of 41 inks sold in the EU after new limits came in, 24 exceeded the nickel limit [4], which matters for people with a nickel allergy.

Fixing bad work

What does it cost to fix bad eyebrow embroidery?

Usually more time than the original brow took. In 75 women having unwanted eyebrow permanent makeup removed, colour alone was the main complaint in 43.8%, colour and shape together in 37%, colour intensity in 19.2% and shape alone in 11% [5]. Most of those problems are decided on the first day, by the choice of pigment, depth and design.

Lightening is done with picosecond or Q-switched laser over several sessions spaced weeks apart. In a chart review of 76 people treated for eyebrow or eyeliner tattoos, the mean was 2.8 treatments, and hidden colours such as red, orange or yellow were unmasked in 26.3% [6]. In 98 people with complex eyebrow tattoos treated with picosecond laser, about three sessions were needed on average, more when warm pigments were visible, and 18 showed an immediate grey discolouration [7]. Because some brow inks darken, a test area comes first. Only once the skin has settled can a new brow be designed. At IN Eternity Clinic this is planned by a doctor; see eyebrow tattoo removal and what decides tattoo removal cost.

At IN Eternity

How is eyebrow embroidery cost explained at IN Eternity Clinic?

The cost is explained at consultation, after the brows have been seen, because the technique, the time needed and whether old pigment must be lightened first all depend on your skin and history. Eyebrow embroidery is offered at IN Eternity Clinic. Your medical history and skin are assessed at consultation, and the pigment work itself is done by the clinic's embroidery specialist, not a doctor. The clinic offers microblading, powder or ombre (misty) brows and combination brows, and the perfecting touch-up at six to eight weeks is usually part of the plan; what is included is set out before you decide.

A medical setting adds a few things that do not appear on a price list: a medical history before design, sterile single-use needles opened in front of you, a doctor on site if a reaction occurs, and laser correction on the DEKA TORO or Fotona StarWalker PQX in the same clinic if it is ever needed. No price is promised before assessment, and results vary. Enquiries are by WhatsApp on +65 8815 3008, Monday to Saturday, 11am to 8pm. See eyebrow embroidery.

What Dr Sin Yong looks for

  • Skin type and pore size, which decide the technique and therefore the time and touch-up plan.
  • Old brow pigment: its colour, depth, layering and whether it should be lightened before new work.
  • Eczema, seborrhoeic dermatitis or infection near the brows, which must settle first.
  • Keloid tendency, nickel or pigment allergy, pregnancy, blood thinners and recent isotretinoin.
  • Brow hair loss that may have a medical cause, which is checked before it is covered.

General clinical observations used at consultation; they describe what is checked, not any individual result.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How much does eyebrow embroidery cost in Singapore?

It depends on the technique, the experience of the person doing it, whether the touch-up is included, design time, numbing, aftercare and any correction of old pigment. At IN Eternity Clinic the cost is explained at consultation, after your skin and brows have been assessed, rather than quoted in advance.

Why is eyebrow embroidery Singapore price so different between studios?

Providers set their own prices and describe similar work with different names. Some price by artist seniority, some include the perfecting touch-up and some do not, and some quote a course of sessions. Compare what is included, not only the headline number.

Does eyebrow embroidery price include the touch-up?

Not always. Some quotes include the perfecting session at six to eight weeks; others charge it separately or limit the time within which it is included. Ask before you book, and ask what later colour boosts involve, since brows fade over one to three years.

Are expensive eyebrow embroidery prices worth it?

A higher price is only worth it if it buys something real: careful design time, an experienced artist, sterile single-use tools, a named pigment, a planned touch-up and help if a reaction happens. Ask to see healed results at a year rather than fresh photos.

What is the brow embroidery cost over time?

Brows fade over one to three years. Hair strokes often need a colour boost at about 12 to 18 months, sooner on oily skin, while powder or ombre brows often go 18 to 30 months. A technique that suits your skin can mean fewer boosts.

Is cheap eyebrow embroidery safe?

Price alone does not decide safety, but what is left out can. Warning signs include no medical questions, needles not opened from a sealed pack, pigment that cannot be named, no healed photos and pressure to book the same day.

How much does it cost to fix bad eyebrow embroidery?

Correction usually takes several laser sessions spaced weeks apart, starting with a test area because some brow inks darken. Published series report about three sessions on average, more for warm or layered pigment. The plan and cost are explained after a doctor has assessed the brows.
