Precision lasers for
skin that speaks for itself.
From decade-long acne scars to pigmentation, enlarged pores and uneven texture — Dr. Sin Yong applies internationally trained laser expertise to deliver measurable skin improvement, often where other treatments have fallen short.
Lasers applied with
surgical precision
Laser treatments are only as good as the physician operating them. Unlike clinic systems where nurses or therapists deliver standardised energy settings, every laser procedure at IN Eternity is performed personally by Dr. Sin Yong — adjusting parameters in real time based on your skin's response.
As a Key Opinion Leader for DEKA, Fotona and Lutronic, Dr. Sin Yong trains other physicians in International expertise laser techniques. His protocols draw on international clinical research and are adapted specifically for Asian skin types, where pigmentation, scarring and photodamage present differently than in Western populations.
"Most patients who come to me for scar treatment have already tried other lasers — often multiple times. What's missing isn't the technology, it's how it's applied."
No therapist delegation. Every laser pass is made by Dr. Sin Yong personally — the same standard he teaches to physicians internationally.
Fitzpatrick types III–V require different energy parameters, wavelengths, and post-treatment protocols. Dr. Sin Yong's training and patient base is predominantly Asian.
Complex concerns like deep acne scarring rarely respond to a single modality. Dr. Sin Yong combines laser, subcision, TCA CROSS and energy-based treatments within a structured plan.
How laser skin treatments work
Different laser wavelengths and delivery methods target different skin layers and chromophores — Dr. Sin Yong selects the right combination for each concern.
CO₂ fractional lasers (DEKA Tetra Pro) vaporise microscopic columns of tissue in the scar bed, triggering wound healing and new collagen synthesis. The Tetra Pro Scar3 protocol combines fractional ablation, deep coagulation and collagen stimulation in a single session — targeting rolling, boxcar and icepick scars simultaneously with minimal surrounding tissue damage.
Pico lasers deliver ultra-short pulses (trillionths of a second) that shatter pigment particles through photoacoustic pressure rather than heat — reducing the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation in darker skin types. Used for melasma, solar lentigines, post-acne marks, and tattoo removal. The R2 Glow and PiQ laser protocols are tailored to Asian skin's specific pigmentation patterns.
Non-ablative lasers pass through the skin surface intact, delivering controlled thermal energy to the dermis to stimulate collagen without breaking the skin. The FSX Laser LCLR® and Luminescence Laser protocols improve skin tone, tighten pores, reduce fine lines and produce an immediate glow effect — with no downtime and no peeling.
Skin & laser treatments at IN Eternity
Each protocol is selected and personalised based on your skin type, concern, and history of prior treatments.
4D Scar Reconstruction (Definitive Depth Dynamic Detachment)
Dr. Sin Yong's pioneered scar treatment — a multi-layer approach combining subcision to release tethered scar fibres, TCA CROSS to remodel icepick scars, fractional laser resurfacing, and collagen stimulation energy. Designed for patients with acne or trauma scars who have seen limited improvement from conventional laser treatments alone. Addresses all three scar depths in a structured session plan.
Tetra Pro Scar3 Treatment (LCLR®)
A breakthrough CO₂ laser protocol using DEKA's Tetra Pro platform — combining three distinct laser modes in a single session: fractional ablation for surface resurfacing, deep coagulation for scar contraction, and sub-surface thermal energy for collagen induction. Designed to treat deep rolling, boxcar and icepick scars with significant improvement achievable from the first session.
PiQ Laser & R2 Glow (Picosecond)
Picosecond laser protocols for pigmentation correction, melasma management, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and overall skin brightening. The PiQ Laser targets deeper pigment deposits while the R2 Glow protocol addresses surface tone and provides an immediate luminosity effect. Both are calibrated for Asian skin to minimise rebound pigmentation risk.
FSX Laser (Flawless Smooth Skin LCLR®)
A non-ablative laser protocol delivering sub-surface thermal energy for pore reduction, skin tightening, tone improvement and collagen stimulation — with no downtime and no peeling. A 30-minute treatment producing an immediate glow and cumulative improvement in skin quality with regular sessions. Suitable as a maintenance treatment or standalone rejuvenation.
Subcision & TCA CROSS
Subcision releases the fibrous bands tethering rolling scars to deeper tissue — allowing the skin surface to elevate naturally. TCA CROSS (Chemical Reconstruction Of Skin Scars) uses high-concentration trichloroacetic acid applied focally to icepick scars, inducing collagen remodelling within the scar tract. Both are frequently combined with laser protocols as part of the 4D Scar Reconstruction plan.
Tattoo Removal Laser
Multi-wavelength laser protocols targeting different ink colours and depths. Each session is planned based on ink type, skin tone, tattoo age, and location. Dr. Sin Yong's approach prioritises minimising post-treatment hypopigmentation — particularly relevant for darker skin types where scarring risk is higher with aggressive settings.
Who is suitable for laser treatments?
You may benefit from laser skin treatment if you have:
- Acne scars — rolling, boxcar, or icepick
- Post-acne redness or hyperpigmentation
- Melasma or sun-related pigmentation
- Enlarged or congested pores
- Uneven skin tone or texture
- Fine lines and early skin laxity
- Stretch marks from pregnancy or weight change
- Tattoos you wish to remove or fade
- Dull or lacklustre skin requiring rejuvenation
- Prior laser treatments with limited improvement
A consultation is needed if you have:
- Active acne breakouts in the treatment area (to be resolved first)
- Current use of isotretinoin (Roaccutane) — a waiting period applies
- Recent sun exposure or active tan
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- History of keloid scarring
- Photosensitising medications
Asian skin (Fitzpatrick types III–V) requires careful calibration of laser energy, wavelength and pulse duration to achieve effective results without triggering post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Dr. Sin Yong's protocols are designed with this specifically in mind — suitability is always assessed individually at consultation.
This is one of the most common situations Dr. Sin Yong encounters. Scar improvement often plateaus when a single modality is used repeatedly. The 4D Scar Reconstruction approach works differently — it combines subcision (to release tethered scar fibres), TCA CROSS (for icepick depth remodelling), and CO₂ fractional laser resurfacing in a structured plan. Addressing all three scar depths together produces results that individual treatments cannot replicate.
It depends on the protocol. Non-ablative treatments like the FSX Laser and R2 Glow have no meaningful downtime — mild redness that resolves within hours. The Tetra Pro Scar3 and 4D Scar Reconstruction involve a recovery period of 5–7 days with skin redness and crusting as the treated areas heal. Dr. Sin Yong will walk you through the expected recovery for your specific protocol at consultation.
The Tetra Pro Scar3 and 4D Scar Reconstruction protocols are designed to produce significant improvement within 1–3 sessions, depending on scar severity and depth. Collagen remodelling continues for 3–6 months after each session. A personalised plan is outlined at consultation — most patients see meaningful change earlier than with conventional fractional laser courses.
Melasma requires careful management — incorrect laser settings or wavelengths can trigger rebound darkening, particularly in Asian skin. Dr. Sin Yong uses picosecond laser protocols calibrated for lower fluences and appropriate wavelengths to treat melasma safely, always combined with sun protection guidance. A full skin assessment at consultation determines whether laser or a non-laser approach is more appropriate for your specific melasma pattern.
Non-ablative treatments (FSX Laser, R2 Glow) are well tolerated with minimal discomfort — most patients describe a mild warming sensation. Ablative and scar reconstruction protocols involve more intensity; topical anaesthetic cream is applied 30–45 minutes before treatment, and Dr. Sin Yong adjusts parameters continuously to balance efficacy and comfort. The Tetra Pro Scar3 treatment may involve some discomfort during delivery but is generally well managed with topical anaesthesia.
In many cases, yes. Dr. Sin Yong frequently designs combination sessions addressing scar texture and pigmentation simultaneously — particularly where post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation accompanies atrophic scarring. The sequencing and energy levels are carefully planned to avoid overstimulating the skin in a single visit. This is discussed and mapped out at your consultation.
The consultation fee is $120, waived in full when you proceed with any treatment on the same visit. The consultation includes a full skin assessment, discussion of your scar or pigmentation history, and a personalised treatment plan — with no obligation to proceed.
